The evening of the 13th of January 2012.

With it being much publisized about the European Cup draw around social networking sites at 8PM this evening the FVPA and the iFVPA together took part in the draw for the biggest International tournament to date.

Italy Player & Co-iFVPA Founder Giacomo and Kelley, also Co-Founder of iFVPA and FVPA held a live draw to determine which iFVPA teams would play eachother for the Group Stages of the upcoming European Cup.

With Giacomo sorting out all the text, images and streams needed for everyone to watch, and understand what was going on, and Kelley donning a shirt and rather brightly coloured tie, we were all set to go!

First to be drawn were the XBOX teams, which consisted of 15 international teams, put into Pots 1-4 based on their World Rankings, the Pots were as follows:

Teams in Pot 1: Ireland, Scotland, England, Germany

Teams in Pot 2: France, Wales, Italy, Russia

Teams in Pot 3: N. Ireland, Spain, Portugal, Ukraine

Teams in Pot 4: Austria, Denmark, Belgium

Group A was to be drawn first, so Kelley, sat on the Camera with his shirt and bright tie, and all the teams names and logos ready, picked 4 teams for Group A, firstly a team from Pot 1, then Pot 2, Pot 3 and Pot 4, this gave us our group and we did this for the rest of the groups until we had all the teams drawn into 4 groups (in which 1 contained only 3 teams due to having 15 teams not 16 entering)

The Results of the XBOX Euro Cup draw were as followed..

XBOX Euro Group Teams

Group A: Germany, Portugal, Russia, Belgium
Group B: England, France, Ukraine, Denmark
Group C: Ireland, Italy, Spain, Austria
Group D: Scotland, Wales, N.Ireland

Next was the PS3 draw.

The PS3 section was made up of 16 teams, including a guest appearence from Africa Cup winners Morocco! The PS3 draw was done the same way and the Pots were as follows:

Teams in Pot 1: Spain, Ireland, France, Italy

Teams in Pot 2: England, Switzerland, Portugal, Sweden

Teams in Pot 3: Germany, Denmark, Scotland, Belgium

Teams in Pot 4: Morocco, Wales, Norway, Russia

Again, after a brief interlude, Kelley appeared donning the same shirt and amazingly bright tie as before, to draw the groups, the outcome of this next draw was:

Group B: Ireland, Belgium, Switzerland, Wales

Group D: Italy, England, Germany, Morocco
