Come the beginning of February 2012, a new non-Virtual Pro experience is set to take place on the site.

The idea is to bring about a competitive yet FUN environment outside of clubs!

4.5 star club teams in a 5 v 5 games, 15 minute halves, no custom tactics, no goalkeepers and much much more!

There were hardly any issues back then, no player controlled Goalkeepers, no custom tactics or any fiddling with the pre-sets to gain an advantage, it was straight forward, pick up, choose the starting eleven and play. Perfect!
The format sprung to mind to enable a return to the game that started it all with the heart and soul of FIFA, the 5 v 5 mode like that of FIFA 08. Here there are no customised players, only those who currently play for the team that you are drawn with.
Over the years this has developed into clubs and Virtual Pro’s have appeared where players can customise their online screen companion into a probing midfielder, or a free kick specialist from the full back position.
The idea is based around the origins of FIFA; when back in 2008 EA Sports released the “Be a Pro” mode which allowed a game to be played online with 5 v 5 teams competing against each other.
